How to create an account and register your University on Zindi

In preparation to the biggest Inter-University Machine Learning hackathon(Umoja Hack). Creating an account is an important step to participate in the hackathon. This article will walk you through on how to create an account and register your university.

1. Log on to zindi.africa/signup and fill in the required fields

2. When you click on submit, you’ll be asked to validate your email address.

3. After your account has been validated, go to the home page and click on your icon avatar then select Edit Profile

You’ll be directed to a page like this…

Scroll down to Universities and click add, then fill in the required fields.

After you’re done, scroll down to “Workplace, university or organization to show next to your username” and click the university you added to the university field earlier.

Then click on Save.

That’s it, you have successfully created an account and added your university. See you on Zindi on Saturday 21 March.
